Banners

Alewitz has organized cultural initiatives and painted banners for unions and progressive organizations such as the United Mine Workers; Jobs with Justice; Teamsters; Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union; and the United Farm Workers.
 

Labor Party June, 1996. Workers from around the country gathered in Cleveland, Ohio to form a Labor Party. It was spearheaded by the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union (OCAW) and other unions. Artists created the Cultural Workers and Artists Caucus (CWAC), that carried on solidarity activities that used the above banners.
